Here is an interesting thing that happened in Dubai. The first drone Taxi was tested in Dubai and it looks really great.As the technology is growing faster and faster along with the population which made travel more congested these days.But this solution will really solve the problem and travelling less distances will never be boring once these Taxis come in use.
Volocopter
The Dubai's Flying Taxi service tested its first drone taxi in Dubai which is called as Volocopter, The Taxi which is tested has Two (2) seats with a cabin to sit which is powered by nine batteries with 18 propellers which rotates to make the taxi fly with the passengers. and each flight time almost last for 30 minutes.The test was made man less but in the next 5 years the taxis will eventually include pilots.
This volocopter also contains all the safety measures while flying in the taxi including the parachute for the traveller.
The CEO of Volocopter FLORIAN REUTER says that this is very similar to the normal way of booking a taxi,The ultimate implementation would actually see you using smartphone having an app called Volocopter to the next voloport near by you, The flying taxi volocopter will come and pick you up and take you to your destination,
Everyone sees this as the future of the travel system from one place to another place.We hope we will be seeing all the way in sky in the near future
